I'm burnt again -_-" today's weather was bright and sunny (thank you Lord), a tad too hot for training. The heat kinda sapped all the energy out of me...
Reached MacRitchie half and hour earlier around 12.30pm for water training. Did the usual carrying of boats and started rowing mileage! Since jiaolian wasn't able to make it, we were left to row 18km on our own. Set off on blackie with jianrong... The waves were one of a kind (current flowing in some weird direction that created some horrible drag), the wind was..... haiya, it didn't help. But we just kept going, the first 10km was pretty good, went with the flow. Did some bursts in the pond :D yayy we managed to sustain for at least 30 strokes! But the next 9+km was the most painful experience I had (okay, other than Nationals)... Couldn't feel my arms, they were on auto-pilot or something. My deltoids were screaming during the bursts, everywhere just hurt (didn't help that we just had gym session yesterday)
Finally got to watch Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End this evening! thanks toe! :D I've concluded that: Jack Sparrow is hot, the octopus guy (Davey Jones) looks much better when he's human and Orlando Bloom looked really handsome at the last part when he became the captain of the Flying Dutchman (: And according to toe, Elizabeth and Will had a son! :D awwww, so cute!!
ohyeahh, made a stupid discovery this morning. The reason why my left eye felt weird whenever I wore contacts was because..... I've been wearing two contact lenses stuck together. I shall not elaborate. Was pretty shocked and amused myself.
